Carol Waston is a graduate of Shortwood Teachers College. She later attended Edna Manley College of Art and the University of the West Indies. She has exhibited in a number of exhibition locally and was accepted to exhibit in the National Gallery's Annual 2000 - 2001 exhibition. She was awarded a bronze medal in the JCDC Fina Arts Festival 2001. Carol's workcaptures the vibrancy of Jamaica's varied landscapes. Her textural detailed treatments of old Jamaican houses and estates add a distinctive characteristic to her paintings.
